I win! Here’s why:

This festival really did the trick– as soon as the house lights came up, several money-fat producers tripped over each other trying to get me to sign what we in the industry call a “five picture deal”. I wouldn’t settle for anything under several million billion dollars, I have some self respect, and they eventually caved in. You’ll be seeing my name in lights…hell you’ll be seeing all these depicted peoples’ names in lights, I take care of my own!

So another festival triumphs in bringing people together over their selfless love of the power of film, and I suckled from it’s teat, look out world– I’m a’comin!

Katie and I spent an afternoon at Topanga State park where we hiked up to Eagle Rock and hung out in it’s caves. It was some pretty amazing weather which recharged my traveling batteries. This coming Monday and Tuesday Brian and I will travel out to the Channel islands for some camping…look for the videos of that in the coming week.
