About Me

Hello, I’m Will Hyler and I’ve got a new feature film coming out, so I don’t want to get in trouble by being honest about who I am outside of “Will Hyler the Director” (I suppose my Youtube vids have already done that though). Here’s a third person version that makes me sound like superman:

Director and cinematographer of award winning shorts at home and abroad, William Hyler is making his feature debut with “The Fish Belong to the People”. The film, shot in a fishing village in Maine, brought him back to his native Maine after attending school and working in Los Angeles for the past six years. As a student he studied filmmaking abroad in Dusseldorf, Germany and at Loyola Marymount University where he earned his degree in Film Production. After graduating in 2007 he entered the work force as a freelance editor, cinematographer, and as a post production visual effects artist on films like “Jumper” and “Speed Racer” which have nothing to do with this movie, but it sounds cool anyway.

Anyway, keep in touch with me through comments or e-mail

and check out my new film!
